Feedback Photo. Source: Ausmed The first article I read was Try Feedforward Instead of Feedback . The thought of feedforward means to give suggestions aimed at helping the other person change. The idea is that providing feedforward rather than feedback, is less embarrassing and critical to the people on the receiving end. It's supposed to help people learn what they did right rather than what they did wrong. Feedforward suggestions aren't taken as personally as feedback and make people more accepting of the suggestions. It also tends to be much faster and more efficient than feedback. The second article I read was The Difference Between Praise and Feedback . This article was mainly parenting focused so it took some rethinking to get it to apply to the classroom.
